Weekend Itinerary

Trying to figure out what to do, when? We’ve got you covered, hour-by-hour for the weekend of the wedding. If you decide to stay earlier/longer, we suggest consulting our handy Things to Do in LA guide.

Friday, Nov. 16

MORNING: We suggest most of fly into town this morning (or earlier), which would give you plenty of time to settle into your accommodations.

AFTERNOON: You’re on your own for lunch.

EVENING: Katya and Sean will have a private dinner with their immediate family.

9:30 pm:  A cocktail toast for the soon-to-be married couple will commence at The Edmon, a swanky art deco bar in the Historic Hollywood Hotel.

AFTERNOON: You should be getting ready right about now!

4 pm: Doors open at Yamashiro, with champagne toast available for the ceremony. If you decide to arrive early, there’s plenty to see at the grounds, but please don’t come much earlier than 3.45 pm or you’ll be waiting outside for folks to arrive. It is advised that you take a Lyft, Uber, or taxi to the location as parking is limited. Drinking and driving is not allowed.

4.30 pm: The ceremony begins. We’ll start at 4.30 pm on the nose, so don’t be late.

5-6 pm: DJ Liz O of The Lash nightclub will be creating the setlist for cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres.

6-7.30 pm: Dinner is served. Full menu will be coming in October with options for all your dietary restrictions.

7.30 pm: Head out to the dance floor! Expect lots of ’80s, synth, post punk, goth, new wave, and dark hip hop beats.

9 pm: Last call for alcohol.

10 pm: The party wraps up. If we’re not completely wrecked, an afterparty could be in store at an undisclosed location.

Sunday, Nov. 18

MORNING: You’re on your own for breakfast.

1-4 pm: Come celebrate with our local friends for a laid back afternoon under the sun at Resident beer garden in Los Angeles’ Arts District. In addition to a super yummy food truck, they also have several fire pits, shady trees, and plenty of booze to go around. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll head over to Arts District Brewing Company a few blocks away.
