Noysky Projects is a creative space established by artists Sean Noyce and Katya Usvitsky. Located in a hidden 100-year-old courtyard in the heart of the burgeoning Hollywood arts district, this intimate space is the atelier of Noyce and Usvitsky, and showcases the work of emerging and mid-career artists on a quarterly basis. The former shop is also a studio for the artist couple — Sean’s work is a hybrid of painting and digital media, while Katya plays with forms in soft sculpture.
Our mission is to provide a venue for contemporary artists whose work has a clear perspective that is relevant, timely, and reactive. The emphasis is on exhibitions that are forward-thinking, have a clear intent, and are usually project-based. Since we are a local organization, we exhibit work that is relevant to Angelenos while speaking to issues that are germane to people around the world. We invite guest curators in the Los Angeles area to submit proposals for upcoming shows.
Noysky Projects is open to the public Thursday through Saturday, noon-6pm, during exhibitions and by appointment during all other times. Please check the Exhibitions page for more information.
